Heroism has always required risk, one enemy or many, identified or not, to face in the struggle to bring order back into the lives of others, often without regard of the hero’s own health and well-being. These conditions prevail here in surprising measure. You will see that there are few moments without a challenge, there not often being a time when either protagonist may relax. For each of these Heroes there are saving graces: their ability to see and accept the reality before their eyes, their ability to adequately predict future events enough to stay a step or two ahead of most opposition. Their practical ability to carry plans through to success also playing into events. Reading this epic you will find that it is not that setbacks, near misses, or troubles failed to visit their doorsteps, just as they plagued those for whom our heroes gave their attention and care.

These prime figures are true heroes, as mentioned, who have done much worthy of note, yet their story is but a small portion of the saga unfolding within the pages of this first and then subsequent episodes, each digging deeper into how people like you and I, and surely the broader activities of people as a whole, changed because of their efforts to support the survival of all Mankind.

Each of these heroes merits their history being extolled broadly, and so each has had their biographers as well as tabloid exploiters, but truly the full story would remain untold should it fail to show how those around these amazing individuals were changed in their daily lives by the actions done on their behalf.

“The Queen’s Adventurer” is this story, one affecting this author as well as each member of humanity. This could be called an epic dissertation with snapshots of the human condition month by month and year by year, utilizing familiar viewpoints and phrases repeated in form, ever in the attempt to evaluate the degree of societal changes as they occurred.

As stated by the author, his fervent desires were that his writing become known as effective in expressing the often -behind the scenes- occurrences and those other acts so bold as to be impossible to ignore, each brought about by these great people while among us. And that using vignette images excerpted from his own surroundings and expressed in metric, rhyming poetry, achieve for the reader an understanding of the impact of each hero, their persons’ and choices upon us, our children and off into the future.

The first in an epic series of 33 stories, “The Queen’s Adventurer” describes heroic acts done in near contemporary times by two amazing individuals and their followers having an ever-growing impact upon people as individuals, on whole societies, and a broad impact on the future of Mankind in positive and amazing ways.
